Kayla & Eric | Fall Engagement Photos at Lake Manawa, Council Bluffs, Iowa

Last fall, I met Kayla and Eric at Lake Manawa State Recreation Area for a beautiful autumn engagement session. The changing leaves and natural scenery created the perfect backdrop for their portraits as they counted down to their wedding day.

And now, the big day is here! Today, I'll be joining them at Founders One Nine in Omaha to photograph their celebration as they officially join their lives and families together.

A Beautiful Fall Engagement at Lake Manawa

Lake Manawa is a wonderful location for fall engagement photos, with its natural scenery and colorful autumn foliage. The warm seasonal colors gave Kayla and Eric's session a timeless feel, creating a collection of photographs that captures this special season in their lives.

Engagement sessions are also a great opportunity for couples to relax in front of the camera and enjoy time together before the busyness of the wedding day. These images preserve a little piece of their story just as they are now, before beginning their next chapter as a married couple.

The Excitement of a New Chapter

It's always special to photograph a couple's engagement session and then arrive at their wedding day knowing how much has happened since those photographs were taken.

For Kayla and Eric, today marks the beginning of married life and the joining of their families. I'm excited to document the details, meaningful interactions, and candid moments that make their celebration personal to them.

Today, it's time to celebrate! I'm so excited to photograph Kayla and Eric's wedding and capture all the meaningful details, genuine emotions, happy tears, and memories that make a wedding day unique.
